Back to work.
Hi everybody and greetings from Cadiz where I've just taken up my post for this year. Fondest regards to my ex-colleagues and students at the Algeciras Official Language School. Keep blogging!
Hello Tim,I'm María, I'm very glad about your post in Cádiz for this year. After the dissapointed trip of the school last course,I finally could go to Ireland, just for a week, flight to Dublin, and then travelling along the southwestern coastal road, visiting Kensale,Keenmare, Bantry, Dingle, Dooling, Clifford of Moher, Galway and Conemmara. As you recommended me I went to visit Killiney and Bray where I could see the bay of Dublin. I liked your country, nature, people, music in the pubs, and food is also good. I hope next year we would visit Dublin with the students and remaind history and culture.Good luck
Hi Tim, here's Davinia! Congratulations on your post in Cadiz!!! It's a very good new!!I'm really happy for you!! About me, I've been working the whole summer in a real estate agency at Sotogrande so I've been talking in English all the time!!!hahahaha I also spent my free time going to the beach as I usually do every summer. Nice to know about you!!!Good luck!!!
Hi María. Glad you enjoyed Ireland. You're the first Spanish person I've heard say that Irish food is good! Obviously you found some good eating places! All the best for now.
Dia duit Tim, beidh sé a bheith ina náire chun deireadh a chur i Algeciras leis an mothú (blas, regusto). Fiú go raibh cuid de na mic léinn níos measa agat a bhí riamh, i dtaithí ar a mhúineadh ag múinteoir maith agus i mbliana tá sé a bheith ina eispéireas an-deacair. Tá sé deacair teacht ar an spreagadh go leor chun dul go dtí rang gach lá. chailleann againn agat go mór. A mór glacadh agus go leor go raibh maith agat. ----------------------------------------- Hi Tim, it'll be a shame to end in Algeciras with this feeling (taste, regusto). Even some of the worse students you've ever had, had been accustomed to be taught by a good teacher and this year it's being a very hard experience. It's hard to find the motivation enough to go to class every day. We miss you very much. A huge embrace and lots of thanks.
Hi Tim, it has been a great news to know that your blog is still working! I hope you are happy teaching in Cádiz. It has to be a relief not to drive to Algeciras twice or three times a week. I agree with Patxi, we miss you a lot! we are very grateful to you because the last two years, we learnt a lot and we had fun in every class. I look forward to reading a new post in your blog! Estefanía
Hi Tim, how is it going? I look forward to reading a new post in your blog! I totally agree with Patxi and Estefania, I'm very grateful to you because of all the things I learnt and the great and funny moments we had in class last year, it was easy to find the enough motivation to go to class every day. For this reason, we miss you so much. Good luck and take care!!
Dia duit a Patxi!. What a surprise to see that your Irish is improving! How did you manage to translate the text? Unfortunately my Irish is not so fluent these days. I've got very rusty. I don't even have a Basic level in it any more. Don't get downhearted. You must keep your nose to the grindstone and practise all you can. All the best.
Hi Estefanía.Thanks for your message. I've been very lazy about my blog recently but I do hope to get back into it again. I'm very happy here in the EOI in CAdiz but of course I do miss my students feom Algeciras as I had a great time with you all and felt I was doing a decent job especially when you nearly all passed your exams with flying colours. All the best for now.
Hi Davinia. Glad to hear from you. I do intend to get my blog rolling again but I seem to be up to my eyes as I am now in training and have different projects and courses to complete before I am officially recognized as a permanent EOI teacher. Take care and keep enjoying studying English and German.
Hi Tim, I am one of the students you had last year in Algeciras. I am sure you remember me. It is great to see you still posting at this blog as it was very useful for me during the third course. This new course has started with behind schedule in Algeciras because the school have change his location and it also has been having some building work done so all has been a little slow at first. However, I am glad about my new teacher, the language assistant and my classmates so in general I am happy with being in fourth course . It was harder but I am learning a lot. Finally,I want you to know we all miss you and I hope things are going ok there in Cadiz. Regards.
